Over the last few years, Missy Elliot has dropped some hard-hitting singles, like ‘WTF’ with Pharrell Williams and we saw a double appearance from Timbaland in ‘9th Inning’ and ‘Triple Threat’. However, it’s been 12 years since her last studio album, ‘The Cookbook’ and the fans are being teased.
We’re now at the beginning of this new year and we’ve been blessed with a new Missy single, ‘I’m Better’ featuring long-time collaborator Lamb. Missy hits us with a controversial flow, the flow is at a pace we’re not used, lazy. Nevertheless, she embodies this.
The new track is accompanied with a music video and in true Missy style, we’re in awe of her futuristic original concepts and incredible choreography.
Missy Elliott has also shared a short teaser for an upcoming documentary about her career.
